Compared to the last special two weeks ago, a light test of steer calves weighing under 650 lbs sold steady on a light offering, with yearling steers over 650 lbs trading with a firm to higher undertone on a much larger offering than two weeks ago. Feeder heifers under 700 lbs sold steady to firm with over 700 lbs trading with a higher undertone. Demand was good on a moderate offering with the bulk of the feeders weighing 650-1000 lbs. Several pot loads were in the offering with two pot loads of steers weighing 1011-1031 lbs at 231.75-233.10, pot load steers weighing 782 lbs at 266.00, two pot loads of heifers weighing 905 lbs at 216.10 and a pot load heifers weighing 659 lbs at 271.00. Slaughter steers and heifers sold steady to firm with slaughter cows trading steady to firm with spots 3.00 higher. Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (52% Steers, 47% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 15% Slaughter Cattle (26% Steers, 7% Heifers, 61% Cows, 5% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 77%.
