Compared to last week, a very light offering of feeder calves were not well tested with last week's special, with several new crop calves in the offer, also several unweaned/short weaned all selling in small packages, small lots and singles. Slaughter steers and heifers sold steady with last week with slaughter cows trading steady to firm, with several high dressing bulls selling from 178.00-184.00. Supply included: 66% Feeder Cattle (43% Steers, 45% Heifers, 12% Bulls); 34% Slaughter Cattle (8% Steers, 12% Heifers, 69% Cows, 11% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 26%.

Holstein steers traded steady on high choice and 1.00 lower on low choice and selects.  Feeder steers & heifers traded 5.00 lower on medium-large 1-2 (Market quotes are on mostly unvaccinated cattle) and 5.00 -10.00 lower on medium-short 2-3. Slaughter cows traded steady on better cows with good lean cows steady to 1.00 higher and 1.00 higher on slower cows. Slaughter bulls traded 3.00-8.00 higher.
