Digi-Star Introduces New Calf Weighing Solution

Digi‐Star has partnered with Raytec® to introduce the latest in calf benchmarking tools. The 42” Raytec Caf Cart™ is now available with a Digi‐Star scale system.
The Dairy Calf & Heifer Association Gold Standards indicate, “The target growth rate for calves is 1.7 to 2.0 lbs. average daily gain. Weigh‐checks should be performed routinely; ideally, at least every three months.” The Caf Cart is an ideal design to weigh and transport newborns through 250‐300 pounds weaning. It also includes a headlock feature to safely secure an animal’s head for administering medicine, tagging, and vaccinating.
This new system is available for delivery within five working days from Digi‐Star.com and shipping is free.
