Agronomy Round Up 2024: Navigating Success In Agriculture

COLLINSVILLE, ILLINOIS

University of Illinois Extension, in collaboration with the Monroe County Farm Bureau, Gateway FS, Monroe County Soil and Water Conservation District, and USDA, will be hosting the Agronomy Round Up at the Monroe County Annex on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. This event promises to be an invaluable resource for local farmers, providing crucial insights and strategies for the upcoming growing season.

The agenda for the morning includes engaging discussions on Local Agency Updates, transitioning to a session with Nathan Johanning, Commercial Ag Educator from the University of Illinois Extension. He will provide insights on Building a Successful Weed Management Plan for 2024, equipping attendees with effective strategies for weed control. We will conclude with insights from Trent Ford, University of Illinois State Climatologist. He will explore the Weather & Climate Outlook for the 2024 Growing Season, delivering an understanding of the environmental factors impacting their crops.

Certified Crop Advisor, Continuing Education Units will also be available for the presentations.

Donuts and coffee will be provided.
