Compared to the last special two weeks ago, the best test and it was a light test was on steer calves weighing 500-550 lbs and 600-650 lbs sold mostly 5.00 lower on similar weights and quality, with a pot load of 860 lb steers selling with firm undertone, all other steer weights were lightly tested but sold with a lower undertone. Feeder heifers were not well tested but also sold with a lower undertone. Demand was moderate on a moderate supply, with the highlight of the sale being the pot load of 860 lb steers at 247.75, overall quality was not as attractive as the last special with calves selling in mostly small packages and groups. Slaughter steers and heifers on a nice offering sold 1.00- 2.00 higher, with slaughter cows steady. Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (58% Steers, 35% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 19% Slaughter Cattle (22% Steers, 8% Heifers, 56% Cows, 14% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 55%.

Compared to last week, 500 lbs heifers sold 10.00 higher, the rest pf the offering sold 1.00-10.00 lower in a light test and lower than average quality. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 5.00 lower;Demand uneven and supply light. Supply included: 65% Feeder Cattle (32% Steers, 39% Heifers, 29% Bulls); 27% Slaughter Cattle (78% Cows, 22% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (35% Bred Cows, 38% Bred Heifers, 27% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 27%.
