Compared to last week, a very light offering of feeders this week but overall a good quality offering had a few comparable sales of400-450 lb and 500-550 lb heifers that sold 5.00-10.00 higher than last week's sales and a group of 730 steers that sold 5.00 higher with all other weights lightly tested but selling with a firm to higher undertone on the better quality feeders. Slaughter cows sold 5.00-8.00 higher. Supply included: 67% Feeder Cattle (38% Steers, 53% Heifers, 9% Bulls); 33% Slaughter Cattle (10% Steers, 17% Heifers, 68% Cows, 5% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 38%.

Compared to two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold steady to3.00 higher in a light test. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady; Demand good and supply light. Supply included: 76% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 36% Heifers, 11% Bulls); 21% Slaughter Cattle (72% Cows, 28% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 23%.
