Compared to the last special two weeks ago, 450-500 lb steer calves sold 4.00-8.00 higher, 500-600 lb traded steady to firm, with 600-700 lobs selling steady to 5.00 higher and over 700 lbs sold with a firm undertone. Feeder heifers weighing 450-600 lbs sold steady to firm with weights over 600 lbs not well tested. A large offering of slaughter cows sold fully steady to firm. Demand was moderate to good on a moderate supply with the best demand on the 450-650 lb steer calves and a pot load of 992 lb steers. Supply included: 78% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 45% Heifers, 2% Bulls); 22% Slaughter Cattle (18% Steers, 6% Heifers, 69% Cows, 7% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 62%.
